Scheduling an NCNR Seminar
Click for current list of seminars
- NCNR seminars are held in Building 235, Room K04B
- Seminars are normally held at 10:45 a.m. but other times are possible, e.g. after lunch.
- Unless it is unavoidable, do not schedule a seminar for a Friday morning when a NIST Colloquium is scheduled.
- Before scheduling a seminar, check with the NCNR User Office that K04B will be available at the desired date and time, and reserve the room.
- When you have the date, time, speaker, title, and abstract give this information to Antonio Faraone (x5254). He will enter it on the NCNR Seminar Web page. Also, please alert the User Office that will make arrangements for it to appear in the NIST Technicalendar. (Note that the deadline for receipt of material for the Technicalendar is noon on Wednesday of the week preceding the event.)
- If your speaker will be visiting NIST from the outside, ensure that he/she is registered at the main gate at least three business days before the date of the seminar.
- Ensure that any needed hardware will be available for the seminar.
