Extreme condition sample environment for low temperature magnetism neutron scattering experiments
Oleg Kirichek (ISIS, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, United Kindom)
About 1/5th of all neutron scattering experiments at ISIS are already related to low temperature magnetism and popularity of this area continues to grow. I am going to review extreme condition sample environment used in ISIS neutron scattering experiments including high pressure, high magnetic field, ultra-low temperatures and combinations of them. I am also going to discuss ongoing related sample environment research and development projects.
