Instructions:
Change any of the values in the text fields and hit to update
the plot. The plot will automatically update after every change. The
first column of parameters is to choose a form factor, P(q), the second
column of parameters is to choose a structure factor, S(q). The only
exception is the PolyHardSphere which has the structure factor included.
In this case the choice of structure factor has no effect.
If you click in the plot area the following commands are
available:
- r: redraw the plot
- R: redraw the plot and rescale it to the maximum
range of the data
- c: bring up a small window that displays the current
cursor position (Note: Some browsers do not correctly
transfer the cursor focus back to the plot and away
from the cursor position window. If this is the case
you will need to click on the plot again for more
commands to work.)
- d: draw a dot on the plot at the nearest data point to
the mouse position and show the coordinates of the
point in a small window. (Note: See note for c)
- D: close the data position window
- h: if pressed in the small windows brought up with c
or d this will close that window
- m: brings up a dialog for setting the range of the plot
manually
- drag mouse: click and drag on the plot to define a
rectangular area to define new plot ranges. R will
set the range back to the default.
Note: Some browsers will cause the applet to function improperly
if you leave this page and come back to it. If you find that this is
the case you can open this page in a new browser window and use the
original one for browsing.
Note: We have also provided details
of how the resolution smearing is performed.
