The sample chamber for the 30m SANS instruments is used for our standard sample changers and a few of our smaller sample environments, such as the humidity cell. The beam height can be changed by a z-stage lab jack. The lab jack is attached to a computer-controlled translation stage and a computer-controlled rotation stage is available on request.
The chamber can be evacuated and/or purged with nitrogen or helium. Feed-throughs for ethylene glycol baths and 4-pin and 14-pin CPC connectors are available if any electroincs are needed inside the chamber while under vacuum.
The mounting hole pattern on the labjack is described to the right.
