7/14/03-7/18/03 Sample goniometers , slits, and beam stop.
Dial indicators are used to align the rotational axes of the theta and two-theta stages to within 0.0005" of each other.
One set of slits are aligned with the beam
A spring loaded pulley and cable guides(not shown) are added to protect the motor cables for the theta goniometer.
The stair extension and new safety rails are added.
The beam stop is built and set in place.
The lower translation stage is mounted to the theta goniometer.
The motor is added to the lower translation stage and the two tilt axes are added.
