Sample Holder Assembly
To assemble the general use aluminum powder sample holders the sample holder, the lid and 4-40 screws, and indium or lead to make a seal are needed. If you need to have a helium atmosphere for the experiment place all materials in glove box in the high bay and follow instructions on the box to use the helium gas. Place the power in the sample holder. Put the correct length of indium or lead around the grove for the o-ring. Place the lid on the sample holder and screw in the 4-40 screws in a star pattern to properly compress the lead/indium o-ring.
